This past Wednesday, J. Scott had the privilege of joining ranks with several other caterers in the area at the Society of Wedding Planners Food Fashion Show. Staged at the sleek Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, the wedding and event planners of SWP were again able to gather together top local talent for a fun and enjoyable evening.

On this night, quarter miles and axle grease were replaced by runways and crème fraiche, as mainline chefs raced up and down the catwalk sporting their latest edible creations. Attendees ogled over the parade of stunning appetizers and entrées. Dishes included everything from watermelon tuna shooters, to Asian pork shoulder.

Not to be outdone by the rhythmic gyrations of some of the livelier chefs, our own Julianne Faris worked the stage, showcasing three of Executive Chef, Erin Morrison’s tasty creations. Get a closer look at what colorful hors d’ouevre our chef was able to serve up by checking out “Dishes for the Food Fashion Show” in our Hot from the Kitchen section.

The evening was tons of fun, and enjoyed by all. Leave it to the wedding planners to put together yet another wonderful evening. Also special thanks to Photographer Phil Kramer for so elegantly capturing this unique event.
