Last week, J Scott Catering held an event to showcase our culinary capabilities and event planning expertise on the 14th floor in a room with stunning views of Center City Philadelphia. More than 70 hospitality – industry guests came to sample a variety of our most popular Hors D’oeuvres and Desserts and to meet our expert Event Planners.
This was a great setting for a showcase as it was floor to ceiling windows which overlooked the city of Philadelphia- what a great spot to dine and mingle!
Our guests were wowed by our display of the many appetizer selections placed on our custom black ladders. These selections included:
-Boston lettuce and raddichio with herbed heirloom cherry tomatoes, sweet onion jam, julienne cucumber, spiced pecans, and feta lemon horseradish dressing
-Roasted fingerling skillet with cherry bacon, arugula, sherry vinegar and shaved parmesan
-Mozzarella en Carozza: prosciutto on brioche with salt and vinegar chips
-Soft Polenta Cake Skillet: sautéed wild mushroom, fried egg and arugula
-Warm Tomato soup with triple grilled cheese
For desert we featured grilled peaches, goat cheese mouse, and strawberry syrup. And a vanilla custard and graham cracker batter with fresh berries served in hinged jars.
Our staff passed our signature drinks of summer peach tea, vanilla-rosemary lemonade, and watermelon lemonade.
