Welcome to J. Scott Catering.

This entry kicks off my first venture into the world of blogging, and our newest vehicle to communicate with our customers and friends.  Through this blog, we hope to provide information about the work we do, share our event experiences, and offer ideas and suggestions for planning your special occasion.
Read on to hear the challenges, pitfalls, joys, tears, creativity, stress, and all around craziness that the catering life offers.  Over the years, I have talked to many caterers and restaurateurs and the one common thread we find is that no matter how crazy it gets, we all thrive on the “adrenaline rush” that it gives off.  We all want to control the uncontrollable.

I have been catering in Malvern for over 15 years, which after some quick calculations adds up to about 7,500 events, give or take a couple hundred.  Let me say this for the record…I do not think about myself a expert by any stretch of the imagination.  I have learned many valuable lessons and have thrown some fantastic events along the way.

I look forward to sharing what I have learned and experienced.
