Summer is off to a great start at the Phoenixville Foundry! The décor from this past weekend had a warm feel with orange and purple and could make even the gloomiest of days feel sunny.

The table settings were a trio of glass cylinders with submerged orchids and floating candles. Sommerfield Design Flowers handled all of the floral arrangements for a stunning look.

The food was presented and separated by station, which meant there was something for everyone! Each guest was able to go up and choose exactly what they wanted as it was being made fresh by our skilled chefs. Some of the stations at this reception included: sushi bar, raw bar, pasta station, and carving station.

In addition to the stations, there were also delectable hors d’oeuvre being passed around, such as: mini Caesar salads sprinkled with homemade pumpernickel croutons, our signature mini cheese steaks with whiz and grilled onions, bocconcini mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto with balsamic glaze, beer marinated shrimp with curried citrus mayo, classic bruschetta with tomato basil concasse on a homemade crostini, and chicken satay with spicy peanut sauce. Each plate was more vibrant than the next, some even included flowers that accented the food perfectly and continued with the summer theme.

Overall, the newly married couple and guests were very pleased with everything and the J. Scott Catering staff had a great time pulling off another successful event.
