On May 5, the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry presented it’s 2021 Small Business Awards at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center. The event is designed to spotlight the important role small businesses have in Chester County’s economy. The chamber presented two awards this year — Nonprofit of the Year was given to the Chester County Conference and Visitors Bureau (CCCVB); and Small Business of the Year was presented to our very own J. Scott Catering and owner, Scott Walsh.

Specifically, the Small Business of the Year Award honors a business that “epitomizes entrepreneurship, leadership, and civic responsibility.”

In presenting the award to Walsh, Deb Abel of Abel Brothers Towing said he is the “quintessential story of hard work, grit and doing what it takes to be success full as a small business owner.”
