We’re starting June off right here at J. Scott Catering! Our kitchen is currently preparing three savory little hors d’oeuvre for the upcoming food fashion show at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia. From 6:30-9:30 we’ll be showing off our favorite and trendiest dishes. We have a delicious Ahi Tuna and Watermelon Parfait in a shot glass with creme fraiche, balsamic syrup, mint, and roasted fennel fronds to garnish. Who said parfaits had to be unhealthy? Next we have an Asian Pork Tostada with jicama slaw, pork shoulder, Asian BBQ sauce, fried tortilla, and garnished with cilantro. Last, but certainly not least, we have a Braised Short Rib Surf & Turf Spoon with seared scallops, sweet potato puree, caramelized brussel sprouts, and veal glace. It’s the perfect mouthful!
