A Friday evening in mid-January served as the perfect backdrop for a corporate holiday celebration held at Phoenixville Foundry. As we break this fun filled event down into bite sized pieces, it will showcase the many moving parts that go into the planning and execution of an event for 500. Check out the feature video showing the highlights from the evening!
The evening began with guests enjoying butlered drinks and hors d’oeuvres as they made their way up the stairs to the Mezzanine. Four conveniently located bars were open for guests with additional passed beer and wine. Even with nearly 500 guests in attendance nary a line was seen all evening.
Passed hors d’oeuvres included apple and brie baked Phyllo cup and Thai smoked chicken on wonton crisp. Traditional items served were bacon wrapped scallops with horseradish dipping sauce and shrimp cocktail. The last and unique items were beef chow chow skewers and steamed vegetable dumpling served with sweet chili sauce.
The stationary displays while simple were beautiful and bountiful. Artisan cheeses included Grand Cru Reserve, Red Spruce 4 Year cheddar and many others. The fresh garden crudite included an assortment of broccoli, asparagus spears, cherry tomatoes, celery and carrots accompanied by roasted red pepper and spinach dips.
It was a wonderful start to the evening and we look forward to sharing more.
