Today we’re preparing a cheese platter that’s perfect for a romantic picnic or dinner for two. There are five flavorful cheeses on this platter: a salty pecorino romano, a smokehouse bleu, a pungent fontina, a smoked mozzarella, and a drunken goat cheese with a sweet, smooth flavor. To compliment the look and taste of the cheeses, there are also an array of fruits, like sweet strawberries, juicy red grapes, wonderfully ripened blueberries, and a pineapple to garnish with.  This platter is the ideal combination of sweet and salty.

We also made a roasted orange and rosemary turkey breast which could be served as a meal or an appetizer. The roasted orange and rosemary brought out the savory flavors of the turkey while also adding pleasant tanginess from the oranges and an earthy aroma from the rosemary.
